The Community Opportunity Event

The Community Opportunity Event is a community wellness and resource fair, co-hosted by the Waco Police Department, City of Waco Parks and Rec, Waco Family Medicine, and Waco AHEC. The event is intended to promote individual, family, and community well-being by partnering with community resources to provide educational and interactive health services, education and career opportunities, and fun for the whole family.
Free parking will be available in the South Waco Recreation Center multipurpose lot and the First Methodist Church lot. These parking lots will be open to the public for this event. Security will be present in lots. Buses will run every 20 minutes to and from Dewey Center throughout the event.
