Saturday’s itinerary is high energy, so you could call it a night early. But if you have whiskey aficionados in your group, make a pilgrimage to J.S. Barnett’s Whiskey House for a dram (or two) from the largest selection in Texas.
You’ll find over 1,200 different whiskeys from around the world, ranging from right here in Texas to as far as Japan. Sit out on the large patio and enjoy this jaw-dropping selection while you puff on a cigar—also available from their curated collection. And if anyone on your crew doesn’t want whiskey, they have beer, wine, and craft cocktails as well. J.S. Barnett’s is open until 1:00 a.m. on Fridays, so you can take your time with this impressive menu.

Feast on a Biscuit Breakfast
The scratch-made buttermilk biscuits at Butter My Biscuit Cafe are the stars of the menu. Build your own dish, starting with a pair of biscuits and adding toppings like gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, blueberry honey, and more. Order one of their signature coffee drinks to accompany your breakfast, like the King Koopa—a mocha latte made with nutmeg, paprika, and a dash of cayenne for a bit of kick.
Catch Some Air at Waco Surf
Do something truly unique during your Waco bachelor party. Waco Surf is a man-made surf lagoon and water park where you and your friends can ride the waves—right here in central Texas.
Book a private surf session for your group for anywhere from one to eight hours. Waco Surf considers 9 to 12 surfers ideal for a private session, but they can organize a heat schedule for larger groups so everyone gets some time in the water.
During your private session, you can access Waco Surf’s entire wave library. These range from intermediate peel waves to the advanced “freak peak wedge”—two waves that start on either end of the lagoon and meet in the middle, made for catching air. Book their onsite photographer to take videos, photos, or drone footage of your surf experience for a one-of-a-kind memento.
At lunchtime, enjoy tacos and a cold beer at the Surfside Shack. It’s right by the surf lagoon, so you can watch out for impressive aerials while you’re eating.
After your private session ends, hit up the Cable Park for wakeboarding, pulled by overhead cables through a course of jumps, ramps, and rails on a nine-acre lake. There’s also a water park with four side-by-side Wedge Water Slides that launch riders into the air before they splash into the pool below. And when you’re ready to relax, float the lazy river. You can BYOB into the water park side of the property, but not into the surf side of the park, so plan accordingly!

Dinner at OneThirtyFive Prime
A decadent steak dinner is a fitting bachelor party meal. Popular steakhouse OneThirtyFive Prime specializes in prime aged New York strips, tenderloins, and ribeyes made from American Akaushi beef. They also serve fine seafood like jumbo sea scallops, tender shrimp, and decadent lobster for satisfying surf-and-turf.
