- STEAMclipse: This free, family-friendly celebration of the eclipse is designed to build STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) awareness, opportunity and education. The expo will feature booths, presentations and entertainment. NASA will also be exhibiting and speaking at the event, which will take place at the from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Waco Convention Center.
- Glow Over Waco 5K & Fun Run: The Greater Waco Sports Commission will host the “Glow Over Waco” 5K and Fun Run along the riverfront in downtown Waco on Saturday, April 6. For information, visit the event website.

- Lights Over Waco festival: Along with a free riverfront concert (artist TBA) and walking lantern parade across the Waco Suspension Bridge, the Lights Over Waco festival will feature a cosmic-themed drone show made up of 300 choreographed drones that will light up the evening sky. The festival will take place at Indian Spring Park and is free to attend. Gates will open at 4 p.m., with music starting at 6 p.m. The lantern parade will begin at 9 p.m., followed immediately by the drone show. For information, visit brazosnightswaco.com.
Monday, April 8
- Eclipse Over Texas: Live from Waco: This ticketed event will feature eclipse viewing, food trucks, science talks and interactive, family-friendly activities. The City of Waco has teamed up with Lowell Observatory, Baylor University, Discovery and community partners for this experience.
