2nd Annual Community Opportunity Event

The Community Opportunity Event is back on! Know as the COE, this exciting FREE event is scheduled for May 20th, 2023, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Dewey Community Center as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dewey Park! Our youth represent the future and therefore we, as a community, need to do everything we can to guide them on the right path to be successful. The COE promotes a holistic approach that addresses the root causes of teen gun violence through community resources and healthy lifestyle choices which can help create safer and more positive environments for young people. The COE will have various careers and jobs represented, mentoring programs, basketball activities, prize giveaways, a 360 photo booth, a gaming trailer, free haircuts, kids’ activities, etc. Come join us!
