3rd Annual Community Opportunity Event

Join us for the 3rd Annual Community Opportunity Event in Waco, Texas! This event is a partnership between the Waco Police Department, Waco AHEC, Waco Family Medicine, and the City of Waco Parks & Recreation and is FREE for all!

Our goal is to provide a safe environment for kids of all ages and offer them valuable information, support, and lifestyle choices that promote healthy and productive lives.

At the Community Opportunity Event (COE), young adults will have access to life skills workshops, job opportunities, mentoring programs, mental and physical health information, general educational development, higher education scholarships, and grant information.

We are also excited to highlight the newly developed Waco Police Department’s Unidos program, which aims to promote diversity within the communities we serve.

By joining us at this event, you will not only be supporting a great cause, but you will also be helping to make a difference in your community. We have already seen a decrease in violent crimes this year compared to last year, and we believe this is a direct result of our efforts. However, we need your help to continue to improve the overall conditions in our communities.
