WHAT: Hawaiian Falls Waco will host the 14th Annual World’s Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL) to build awareness about the vital importance of teaching children to swim to help prevent drowning.
The 2023 WLSL will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 22.
Swimming is a life-saving skill for children and a vital tool to prevent drowning, a leading cause of death of children.
Admission for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson is free at Hawaiian Falls. The first 100 guests to register will receive one free Hawaiian Falls ticket and all participants will receive a coupon for a free slushie or Hteo.
Guests are welcome to stay in the park for the remainder of the day at a reduced admission. Children 2 and under always are free when accompanied by a paid adult admission.

BY THE NUMBERS: 26 kids have drowned in Texas already in 2023.
Children under the age of five and especially toddlers are highest at risk. Drowning can happen in any amount of water, indoors or outdoors.
It only takes a few minutes for a child to drown.
