Waco is an antique-hunting mecca, with shops all over town to satisfy vintage-hunters and lovers of all things old.
With so many antique stores to choose from, where should you start? Use this list (organized by area of town) to plan a day or a weekend of shopping. Some of these shops offer exclusively vintage finds, and some sprinkle vintage pieces among more modern collections. Outfit your home, closet, or yard with unique finds, or pick up gifts for the friend who has everything. Happy hunting!

Antique Shopping in Downtown Waco
Waco’s downtown district is home to a host of charming vintage and antique stores, each with their own unique style. Follow this list (arranged north to south) to visit them all. You can make this pilgrimage by foot—it’s only 2 miles from first to last stop. Take a lunch break at one of downtown Waco’s many restaurants when you need to refuel.
Spice Village
Spice Village is a collection of over 40 independent booths and shops under one roof. Most offer new items, but there are antiques here too! Look for the OG Vintage booth, with an eclectic array of vintage clothes, pinned insects, pennants, antique books, prints, collectible cards, and cameras. At Bee Angels, you can find furniture, mirrors, wall art, glassware, books, and more, ranging from chic to rustic. And at Junky Monkey, look for baskets, furniture, and assorted home decor, plus hand-poured candles. They also have their own separate shop on LaSalle Avenue!
When you’re done antique shopping, browse the rest of the booths for great local gifts and goods.

Cameron Trading Co
Cameron Trading Co. has been an Austin Avenue institution for over 30 years. This two-story antique mall is packed with treasures from over 40 different vendors, including dishes, books, barware, crystal, furniture, jewelry, clothing, and knickknacks from decades past. The second floor has lots of Christmas and holiday decor, so you can bring a unique twist to your December look.
The antiques don’t end at the front door—the building itself has a historical pedigree. The shop was originally the William Cameron Company’s lumber yard, built in 1911. It later became a McCrory’s Store, a famous five-and-dime chain from the first half of the 20th century. And the building was one of the few in the city to survive the deadly Waco Tornado of 1953!

The Findery
Get inspired to rethink your home’s design at The Findery. Their carefully curated collection of antique, modern, and found furniture and unique home decor is thoughtfully staged in a beautiful and airy 10,000 sq. ft. showroom. The Findery also features a boutique with on-trend clothing and accessories, and houses their interior design company, Design by The Findery.

Simply Irresistible
You could spend hours wandering the enormous 10,000 square foot showroom at Simply Irresistible. They offer a combination of new and vintage items including furniture, art, home decor, and clothing. Central Goods
Antique shopping is seriously fun at Central Goods. Around 20 vendors share space here, offering original art, vintage tees and clothes, furniture, home decor, antique books, and ephemera of all kinds.
The collections toe the line between cluttered and curated in the best way. There are some lovely vignettes, but you also get the fun of poking around shelves and tables searching for treasures. Inventory changes often, so this is a spot to visit again and again. Central Goods doesn’t have a website, but their Instagram is a delight.

ARtieR Resale
ARtieR Resale is a block away from the more bustling Austin Avenue and Franklin Avenue corridor, but it’s worth the walk. Browse vintage clothes, handcrafted jewelry, home decor, knicknacks, and eclectic treasures of all types, with fair prices. You may also find fascinating local photography.
Make sure to chat with Harold, the owner, while you’re here. He’s known for his great conversation and turns a shopping trip into a special experience.

Shop the four distinctive antique and vintage stores all within a half-mile stretch of La Salle Avenue.
Riverside Relics Vintage Market & Rusty Willow Mercantile
Riverside Relics and Rusty Willow Mercantile give you two shops for the price of one.
At Riverside Relics, shop for home decor, old records, vintage toys, dishes, and curios of all kinds at Riverside Relics. Furniture hunters may find solid wood pieces in their original condition. Or look for upcycled and repurposed pieces given fresh life by creative owner Sharon Wells.
At the Rusty Willow Mercantile section, look for colorful metal planters and figurines sourced from Mexico, plus metal and wicker pieces for patios and yards. You may also find seasonal items like Christmas or Halloween decorations.

Junque in the Trunk
Junque in the Trunk offers an array of vintage, antique, and world market pieces. Look for custom farmhouse-style tables, hall trees, hutches, and other furniture to bring a one-of-a-kind look to your home. You may also find dishes, clothing, books, records, and kitsch. Smell their soy-based candles while you’re there—they offer 17 different scents with long burn times.

The Junky Monkey
The Junky Monkey is as fun as its name. This colorful shop houses an eclectic collection of antiques, vintage pieces, refinished wood furniture, architectural salvage, and oddities. Check out the back lot outside for old doors, cast iron sinks or bathtubs, planters, corbels, concrete statues, salvaged windows, and more. This could be a gold mine if you’re adding a little life to your own “fixer upper!”

Show and Tell Antiques
At Show and Tell Antiques, even the building itself is a treasure. The shop is located inside the 1909 mansion built by Robert S. Lazenby, an early developer of Dr Pepper, and Waco architect Roy Lane. The original wood moldings and stained glass windows make a unique backdrop to this beautiful collection. In these historic rooms, you can browse antique furniture, artwork, pottery, glassware, and more. The pieces here are in wonderful condition, carefully curated by the owner.

Laverty’s Antiques & Furnishings
Laverty’s Antiques & Furnishings offers beautiful offbeat pieces. You could discover specialty furniture, like a spool cabinet or mid-century telephone table, unique art, architectural salvage, vintage clothes, and anything else you can think of.
Laverty’s doesn’t have set hours. They generally open one weekend per month, and they may close entirely for the summer. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram to get updates on when they’re open—it’s like a treasure hunt!

If you’re willing to venture a little further from central Waco, you can find a fabulous array of antiques and goodies. And with less foot traffic, they may also be less crowded.
Craft Gallery
Just south of downtown Waco, the Craft Gallery has been home to over 160 different boutiques and shops since 1993. Several of the vendors offer antique and vintage items, like old books, repurposed farm goods, lunch boxes, and toys. You can also find hand-crafted artisan goods here, including candles, homemade pickles, jewelry, bath & body products, wall signs, and Texas-themed decor.

Funky Junky Gettin’ Place
At the Funky Junky Gettin’ Place about 10 minutes north of downtown Waco, 20 different vendors join under one roof to share their wares. This store is a pleasure to browse, with well laid-out booths that are refreshed weekly. Shop for vintage clothes, art, plates and glassware, etched and epoxy tumblers, vintage Pyrex, jewelry, home decor, and more.
You can also find furniture ready to be refreshed or pieces that have already been upcycled. And if you have the vision but not the know-how, owner Tanya Howard can upgrade your find at your request. They also offer classes from cake decorating to painting, so you can flex your own creative muscles. Watch their Facebook page for class announcements.

Cedar Chest Antique Mall
Sprawling emporium Cedar Chest Antique Mall houses over 150 antique vendors across 32,000 square feet. With a selection this large, you could spend all day hunting for books, art, home decor, collectibles, furniture, textiles, and ephemera of all kinds. After shopping, stop at onsite restaurant Fox’s Treats & Eats for sandwiches, salads, and even ice cream sundaes.
Cedar Chest has been featured on Fixer Upper a handful of times, as hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines hunt for perfectly aged decor for their renovation projects. The mall is located in McGregor, Texas, 20 minutes southwest of Waco.
